You're Invited to ACGC's 6th Grade Living Wax Museum! 🚨 Our 6th-grade students have been working diligently on their Living Wax Museum projects, and we are excited to invite you to witness their hard work come to life! Each student has been researching a Minnesota historical figure, and in an incredible twist, most of them were actually born on the same month and day as the student presenting them! From renowned authors like Sinclair Lewis and F. Scott Fitzgerald, to musicians like Bernie Leadon and Kari Tauring, to golfers like Lee Janzen and Patty Berg, to astronauts like Heidemarie Piper, and even politicians and activists like Amy Klobuchar and Patty Wetterling, this is an opportunity to learn about both famous and lesser-known Minnesotans who have made an impact on history. 📅 Date: Friday, March 21 ⏰ Time: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM 📍 Location: ACGC Junior/Senior High – The Theatre Currently, students are hard at work assembling their trifolds, finalizing their displays, and preparing engaging speeches to bring these historical figures to life. Next week, they’ll be practicing their presentations to ensure a captivating and educational experience for all! This Living Wax Museum is one of the biggest projects of the year for our 6th graders, and they are putting in tremendous effort to make it an unforgettable event. We invite the entire community to come out and support our young historians as they share their knowledge and bring Minnesota history to life! 📚🎭🕵️‍♂️ Mark your calendars and join us for an afternoon of history, learning, and fun!

📚 ACGC Knowledge Bowl at Subsections! 📚 Today, three ACGC teams—Black, Teal, and Silver—competed in the subsection Knowledge Bowl meet at Ridgewater College! As always, our students started strong in the written round, showcasing their incredible knowledge and ability to tackle tough questions. Throughout four challenging rounds, they demonstrated impressive teamwork, critical thinking, and a love of learning. While none of our teams advanced to regions this time, we are incredibly proud of how they represented ACGC and the success they’ve had all season at competitions across the region. As a first-year coach, Mr Rosengren said, “it has been such a joy to watch these students grow, support one another, and form lasting friendships. Knowledge Bowl isn’t just about answering questions—it’s about learning, teamwork, and having fun beyond the classroom. From seventh to twelfth grade, our Falcons have created a space to challenge themselves, bond over their love of knowledge, and make memories that will last far beyond this season.” Great job, ACGC Knowledge Bowl teams!
