Back on May 8, several ACGC student-run businesses took part in the annual KCEO Spring Trade Show.

KCEO - Kandiyohi CEO is a year-long high school course for students from ACGC, NL-S and WPS designed to utilize local business experts that provide an overview of business development processes, essential life skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset that will lead to life success.

There were a variety of student-owned businesses featured from pressure washing and custom press-on nails to marketing services and equipment care. A special congratulations to Brooke Johnson, owner of BJ's Sweet Treats and Floral Arrangements on being named the 2026 KCEO Business of the year!

It was a great day of real world connection and networking for these young entrepreneurs!

The ACGC 6th grade class recently took a memorable trip to explore local history! Students visited the GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) Hall, toured the Forest City Stockade, and stopped to view the historic Acton Monument. It was a great day of learning and connecting with Minnesota’s past.

A special thank you to the Atwater Lions and Grove City Lions for their generous donations, which helped make this field trip possible for our students. We are so grateful for your support of educational experiences for ACGC students!
