Falcon Farewell

As another school year ends, we pause to honor five ACGC teachers who have made a lasting impact on our students, schools, and community. Each brought passion, heart, and dedication to their work. Now, they begin a new chapter—three in retirement, and two in new educational journeys. Though their paths may lead away from ACGC, their legacy stays with us.

Barb Hein – Special Education

BarbBarb began her career with ACGC in the fall of 1990 and has been a steady, compassionate presence ever since. For 35 years, she served students with patience and care, always focusing on their strengths and helping them grow. Her deep commitment to inclusion and support has shaped countless lives. We thank Barb for her lifetime of service and wish her a well-earned retirement full of peace and joy.

Terry Singsank – High School Social Studies

TerryTerry joined our high school staff in 1997 and quickly became known for his engaging lessons, love of history, and care for students. In the classroom and beyond, he encouraged critical thinking and civic responsibility. Whether leading discussions or supporting school activities, Terry made a difference every day. We are grateful for his 28 years of impact and wish him the very best in retirement.

Lora Larson – Middle School Math

LoraSince 2000, Lora has helped middle school students discover confidence and success in math. Her steady leadership, creative instruction, and commitment to growth defined her classroom. Lora's quiet strength and professionalism inspired both students and colleagues. We thank her for 25 years of excellence and wish her a fulfilling and relaxing retirement.

Kelley Heimerman – High School Math

KelleKelleyy joined our high school staff in 2014 and brought energy, creativity, and connection into the math classroom. She built strong relationships with students and brought fresh ideas to the curriculum. As she embarks on a new educational opportunity, we thank her for 11 years of dedication and wish her great success in her next chapter.

Heather Bednarek– Elementary Teacher

HeatherHeather began teaching at the elementary level in 2012 and has been a steady presence for her young learners. She created classrooms full of warmth and curiosity, helping students build strong foundations. Heather now moves forward to a new educational adventure, and we thank her for her 13 years of care, passion, and impact.

To Barb, Terry, Lora, Kelley, and Heather—thank you. You gave your time, your energy, and your hearts to ACGC. You shaped lives, lifted spirits, and built futures.
