ACGC Public Schools is pleased to release the 2025-2026 school calendar, following the Minnesota Department of Education’s approval of our 4-Day School Week application for another six years.
The calendar reflects strong community input gathered through our survey this winter. Survey results showed clear support for the 4-day school week and keeping the school year between Labor Day and Memorial Day. To honor that priority—and meet state instructional requirements—the 2025-2026 calendar includes two five-day school weeks during the year.
“We’re grateful for the feedback from families, staff, and community members,” said Superintendent Kip Lynk. “This calendar strikes the right balance between maintaining our 4-Day Week model and respecting what the community values.”
The first day of school will be Tuesday, September 2, 2025. The last day will be Thursday, May 21, 2026. The calendar also outlines key breaks, holidays, and professional development days.
